  • I offer sports and deep tissue massage sessions tailored to your needs. During sessions I may use a combination of soft tissue therapy, trigger-point therapy, myofascial release or stretching work. All modalities are included within the price of a session.

  • No, sports massage isn’t just for athletes. Sports massage techniques are suitable for both sports people and non-athletes alike and can help with injuries, chronic pain, muscular tension and restricted range of motion.

  • This depends a lot on your individual pain tolerance and your experience with massage. In order to achieve the desired effect, a certain amount of pressure is often required when delivering a sports or deep tissue massage. Some clients can feel some mild discomfort during a session – especially when treating an area with a large amount of tension. I aim to achieve results without excess discomfort and you should always be able to breathe comfortably during treatment. During a massage I will regularly check with you to make sure you are comfortable with the pressure. If at any point during a massage you would like more or less pressure just let me know.

  • Every person is different and it depends on the goal. Minor non-chronic injuries can see results between 1-3 sessions where as major injuries, chronic issues or complex movement dysfunctions will require longer. Many clients incorporate regular massage as part of their wellness routine to help ease muscular tension and to be able to continue doing the activities they enjoy most.

  • While the ideal massage frequency varies from person to person I typically recommend every 1-2 weeks for very active people and those with chronic pain.

    For maintenance and general well being, a monthly massage is ideal to help address muscular tension, improvement movement patterns and reduce stress levels.

  • Every session starts off with a brief chat to discuss your reason for booking and to determine the cause and effect of any issues you may have. Depending on this, I may conduct a postural assessment as well as movement or strength tests. Your treatment will then be tailored to your specific requirements and explained before commencing.

    You will given the privacy to change and place yourself on to the massage table beneath a towel. Only the area of the body being worked on is exposed. I will communicate with you throughout the treatment to assess your comfort levels, and you may be asked at times to perform an active movement or controlled breathing.

    After the session I will give you time to dress and then I will discuss any after-care advice or self care exercises that will help complement the hands-on treatment.

  • For most sessions, a gym top, shorts and underwear will be ideal. For women, wearing a regular bra is preferred so that it can be easily undone if treating the upper back.

    You will always be given privacy to get changed and place yourself under towels on the massage table before the treatment begins. You will always be draped with a towel so that only the area of the body being worked on is exposed. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable during your massage.

  • Sessions can be booked for 30/45/60/90 mins. I will require 5-10 mins before and after each session to set up and pack away.

    For example, if you book a 60-minute massage:

    5-10 mins: set-up and consultation

    60 mins: hands-on treatment time

    5-10 mins: aftercare advice, cleaning and pack away.

  • No problem - I am happy to extend a treatment on the day, subject to my availability. The extension time will be charged at my standard rates.

  • Please prepare a space that is big enough to accommodate a massage table, leaving enough room to move around it.

    Change into some suitable clothing eg gym wear. I will provide everything else needed for the treatment.

  • For your massage session I simply require a clear space to work and for you to be ready in comfortable clothes. I will bring everything else for your treatment, including massage table, towels, lotion etc.

  • My mobile massage services covers Fleet and the surrounding areas. This includes the districts of Hart, Rushmoor as well as Basingstoke, Bracknell, Camberley and Farnham areas.

  • I am a fully qualified and insured Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist registered with the Sports Therapy Association. In addition to my massage training, I am also a qualified Personal Trainer.

  • There is no minimum age for a massage however, all under 16s must provide consent as well as having consent from a parent or guardian. All under 16s must have a chaperone (parent/responsible adult) present for the duration of treatment.
